Grilled T-bone Steak with BBQ rub

Serves 4
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons brown sugar, packed
1 tablespoon ground cumin
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1 teaspoon cider vinegar
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
2 pounds beef T-bone steak (1 inch thick, excess fat trimmed)
Pinch of salt
1. Combine the rub ingredients and press evenly onto the steaks.
2. Grill the steaks, uncovered and turning occasionally, for 14 to 16 minutes for medium-rare. Transfer the steaks to a cutting board and let rest for up to 10 minutes.
3. Carve the steak into slices and season with salt, if desired.
