Recipes for nurses

Guilt-Free Seasoned Fries

Serves 2

2 egg whites, beaten until frothy

Garlic powder to taste

Salt and pepper to taste

2 whole potatoes, sliced into “fries”

1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

2. In a large bowl, season the egg whites with the garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Coat the potatoes lightly with the egg white mixture.

3. Space the fries evenly on a baking sheet, allowing any excess egg mixture to drip off. Bake, turning once with a spatula halfway through, for 20 to 25 minutes, until lightly browned.
