Henry’s Cafe – Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital
West Bloomfield, Mich.
When the Henry Ford Health System hired a former Ritz-Carlton executive to design an overhaul of the hospital and then run it, you can bet the cafeteria wasn’t overlooked. Henry’s Cafe, as it is known, isn’t kidding when it says it serves fresh food – much of it is grown in the hospital’s own greenhouse.
In addition, a 90-seat demonstration kitchen provides patients as well as members of the community the skills to cook healthy at home.
