2012 astrological forecast for nurses

0

Leo
Oh, you do love respect (Leo is the sign of royalty, after all), and this year it’s time for you to be a leader, so you’ll get plenty of it. If you’re asked to spearhead an initiative or a program in the healthcare institution you work for, do it. But use all of the conflict resolution skills you have because this is also a year during which you’re prone to disagree, argue and get angry too quickly. Yes, you have a vast store of nursing expertise and you may be right most of the time, but make a few compromises now and then—as long as you don’t compromise your professionalism and the health of your patients.

An extrovert by nature, you may find that you have to tone down your exuberance and enthusiasm this year because it will turn off many of your patients and coworkers, particularly those pensive, thoughtful water sign folks—those born under the signs of Pisces and Cancer in particular. You love attention, but instead of trying to get it by being over-the-top, focus more on the generous and loving aspects of your personality. Go placidly, you lion. Keep your roar to a purr this year.

Cynthia Dusseault is a professional freelance writer with both a health and an education background. A former medical radiation technologist and elementary school teacher, she realized that no matter what she did, she was drawn to any task that involved writing, so she decided, over a decade ago, to write full-time. Since then, she has written for a variety of magazines and websites including Nursing PRN, National Review of Medicine, University Affairs, Your Health, Education Leaders Today, Today's Parent, Children's Playmate, WeightWatchers.ca and many more. She has written about topics such as asthma, genital herpes, circumcision, teleradiology, body art, learning disabilities and exercise trends, and she absolutely adores the fact that writing—particularly doing the research for the articles she writes—makes her a lifelong learner.
