2012 astrological forecast for nurses

0

Virgo
You need to expand your network of professional connections this year because in the next few years you’ll find yourself making a career shift—moving into a new area of nursing or a new job in a different hospital, or perhaps you’ll find work overseas! So if you aren’t on LinkedIn, for example, it’s time to join.

A big overseas trip is coming up this year, and it will also be a year full of parties and special family events—some of which you’ll be hosting. You’re going to be very busy, so remember to stay calm because, as a Virgo, you’re prone to foul moods. Work hard not to alienate or offend family, friends and coworkers as you keep up your busy pace.

In line with your Virgo personality, you can be difficult to read sometimes, so be careful that the doctors and nurses you work with—and the patients you care for—don’t misinterpret your actions and emotions. Your preoccupation with social media and your hectic social life may come across to others as a lack of interest and enthusiasm for your day-to-day nursing tasks. Just remember to make the effort to put everything else aside and immerse yourself in nursing when you’re on duty. When you’re off duty, then you can focus on those other things. You can do everything that’s on your plate this year, but it will require a bit of a balancing act.

Cynthia Dusseault is a professional freelance writer with both a health and an education background. A former medical radiation technologist and elementary school teacher, she realized that no matter what she did, she was drawn to any task that involved writing, so she decided, over a decade ago, to write full-time. Since then, she has written for a variety of magazines and websites including Nursing PRN, National Review of Medicine, University Affairs, Your Health, Education Leaders Today, Today's Parent, Children's Playmate, WeightWatchers.ca and many more. She has written about topics such as asthma, genital herpes, circumcision, teleradiology, body art, learning disabilities and exercise trends, and she absolutely adores the fact that writing—particularly doing the research for the articles she writes—makes her a lifelong learner.
