2012 astrological forecast for nurses

0

Cancer
You’ll have to work hard to remain optimistic and positive this year because there will be some transitions in your personal life. Your children will become more independent, putting you at risk of becoming melancholy over that “empty nest syndrome.” Your elderly loved ones will also have to make some lifestyle changes, and as you’re helping them out, you’ll ponder your own mortality.

Combat all of this by indulging yourself in trips to the spa whenever you can, and in as many candlelight dinners with your significant other as he or she can stand. Take all the time off work that you’re entitled to, and when you’re at work, you’ll find that what you’re going through makes you more empathetic with your coworkers and patients. Your fellow nurses will love you for your sensitivity, and your elderly patients in particular will always be asking for you.

You’ll have a few adjustments to make on the work front as well. You’ll find that there are several new bossy Aries and Taurus doctors and nurses to deal with in your department, and since you don’t like taking orders, this will cause you some grief. Go ahead and remind them that you work with them, not for them.

Cynthia Dusseault is a professional freelance writer with both a health and an education background. A former medical radiation technologist and elementary school teacher, she realized that no matter what she did, she was drawn to any task that involved writing, so she decided, over a decade ago, to write full-time. Since then, she has written for a variety of magazines and websites including Nursing PRN, National Review of Medicine, University Affairs, Your Health, Education Leaders Today, Today's Parent, Children's Playmate, WeightWatchers.ca and many more. She has written about topics such as asthma, genital herpes, circumcision, teleradiology, body art, learning disabilities and exercise trends, and she absolutely adores the fact that writing—particularly doing the research for the articles she writes—makes her a lifelong learner.
