2012 astrological forecast for nurses

Aquarius
You can expect your financial situation to receive a big boost this year. It could be due to a promotion or job change, but it’s more likely that it will come from an inheritance or possibly even winning the lottery. However it comes about, go easy with your newfound wealth. Let it sit in your bank account while you focus on work; you and your fellow nurses are in for some significant changes and reorganization in your hospital or clinic and you’ll need time to adjust.

You have the tendency to be a bit of a loner, which can turn off some of your more exuberant and outgoing Sagittarius and Leo nursing colleagues. The physicians you work with, however, perceive this as seriousness and dedication, and you can expect them to approach you often this year for advice and assistance. In fact, you’ll find yourself becoming more in tune with the physicians you work with and may even be asked to assist with a few research projects. This is very much in line with your desire for knowledge and passion for science. So don’t sweat the loner aspect of your personality, but do make the effort to take part in some of the fun extracurricular activities your nursing department hosts.

Travel will be big for you this year—both for work and pleasure. Could be that you’re relocating to a new city and a new nursing position or just traveling for continuing education courses. But the traveling will take a toll on your family, so when you return home, be adaptable and agreeable like a good Aquarian, and focus on those you love.

Cynthia Dusseault is a professional freelance writer with both a health and an education background. A former medical radiation technologist and elementary school teacher, she realized that no matter what she did, she was drawn to any task that involved writing, so she decided, over a decade ago, to write full-time. Since then, she has written for a variety of magazines and websites including Nursing PRN, National Review of Medicine, University Affairs, Your Health, Education Leaders Today, Today's Parent, Children's Playmate, WeightWatchers.ca and many more. She has written about topics such as asthma, genital herpes, circumcision, teleradiology, body art, learning disabilities and exercise trends, and she absolutely adores the fact that writing—particularly doing the research for the articles she writes—makes her a lifelong learner.
