Who is your favorite nurse hero?

Wavebreak Media | Thinkstock + Scrubs

Nurse Nina Borg has made quite the impression on American readers since the The Boy in the Suitcase was first published in the U.S. in 2012.

In the book, the first in a Danish series written by Lene Kaaberbøl and Agnete Friis, Borg is a Red Cross nurse who finds the titular boy in the suitcase, barely alive. Her journey to figure out who the boy is and where he belongs turns into an epic quest that soon puts her own life in danger.

We featured Borg in the Fall 2014 issue of Scrubs, which inspired us to think about our favorite nurse heroes from other books. Pick your favorite from the five below! If you want to find even more books with nurses, check out our 10 great novels featuring nurses!
