Oh, the Harlem Shake…what started as a meme has become an internet craze! The first Harlem Shake YouTube post was a video in which a group of people performed a comedy sketch accompanied by a short excerpt from the 2012 song “Harlem Shake.” The dance quickly caught on and thousands of mimic videos have been uploaded since.
