Video: Nurse grad gives funny and inspirational speech on leadership

Scott Padolina is a recent nurse graduate from UIC College of Nursing (Urbana Regional Program), and as the former president of the Student Nurses’ Association, he gave a speech on leadership in nursing at his pinning ceremony. We watched the video and loved it, as it has that hard-to-achieve perfect balance of humor and touching inspiration. We think you’ll agree!
While the speech is sure to be enjoyed by nurses at any point in their careers, we think new grads and their families will especially love the speech, and hope you’ll share it with any that you know!

Watch the video in full here (he really gets started at 1:02!):

In the comments below, tell us your thoughts on Scott’s speech, and be sure to include any advice of your own for new grads!
