Ever thought about becoming an ICU nurse? As part of ConnectEd’s “Day in the Life” series, ICU nurse Rook Rampersaud discussed what the job is like and the path that lead her to this demanding (but rewarding!) gig. As she says at the top of the video, while nurses are often thought of as angels, they’re also all college-educated professionals who know how to take care of people and their health issues.
We loved hearing Rook talk about how she handles post-op patients and what a day on the job (which is never typical!) is like.
