Over the past week, between jobs, I have had time off. It has been so nice. Being able to sit back, relax and just enjoy some time to myself. Of course I have had my share of to do lists every day from my wife, but I have made sure to enjoy the time off.
I have been catching up on some TV, and discovering a couple new shows. I started watching The Walking Dead on AMC. Great show about zombies….I like zombies. Playing the Wii here and there and getting to the gym every day.
Although I have made it to the gym every day, I ate horribly. I have great intentions about my diet when I get up on the morning, eat a good breakfast, go to the gym, but then when I get home and am alone in the house, I can’t help myself and start eating junk. I have been the one going to the grocery store too, have made sure not to buy any junk food, but it just keeps appearing in the house….I have no idea where it is coming from.
My days off are coming to end in a couple of days, so I will continue to “try” to eat well, go to the gym everyday and relax a little. Of course the “honey do” lists are my first priority.
