March 6, 1886: The first nursing journal, The Nightingale, was published.
March 12, 1862: Jane Delano, founder of the American Red Cross Nursing Service, was born.
March 14, 1851: Anna Caroline Maxwell, who was known as “The American Florence Nightingale,” was born.
