Scrubs styles that make you look like a pro

Bring Your Blues to Work
Lightweight denim is something of a newcomer to nursing fashion, but it’s quickly becoming a favorite as a scrubs fabric. Denim may appear a little more casual than some other textiles, so choose items with a dark wash for a dressy look. Here’s why we say the pros choose denim scrubs:

  • They say, “I’m in this for the long haul.”
  • Denim can stand up to the constant wash-and-wear cycle a nurse’s wardrobe goes through.
  • The fabric can be “lazy ironed” by tossing it in the dryer with a wet hand towel for 20 minutes.
  • It just keeps getting softer and better-looking with age.
