Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid announced yesterday that the health reform bill will include a public option that will allow states the ability to opt out. This measure is supported by Senator Dodd and Senator Baucus and is regarded as the best way to “move forward.”
The merged bill will now be sent to the Congressional Budget Office for a cost “score.”
