Nursing caps

Finding special caps and their history can be quite an adventure for the avid cap collector. Each nursing school had its own cap, which the graduates continued to wear in their place of employment. Patients and staff could often identify your nursing school just by glancing at your head. The best known North American nursing cap collector was retired nurse Gloria Kay of Ontario, Canada. She donated her collection, which covered the years 1895 to 1983, to the Canadian Museum of Civilization.

So, what do you collect?
