The first episode of the seventh and final season of Nurse Jackie will air on April 12, and we have to ask: Have you stuck with the series until the end?
If you’re one of the nurses who have enjoyed following the trials and tribulations of Edie Falco’s Nurse Jackie for six seasons, check out this trailer released by Showtime for the upcoming final season:
This season will find Nurse Jackie losing her nursing license and beginning to rebuild her life, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Nurse Jackie showrunner Clyde Phillips notes that the show will have an “authentic” ending. “We had told the up and backstory of addiction and of trust, consequence and shrapnel that a drug addict has inflicted on her colleagues, friends and family in about as many ways as we possibly could,” Phillips said. “We’re ending in a graceful and authentic way this year.”
