Man Accused of Attacking ER Nurse at St. Cloud Hospital

0

Stephen Dudley of Kilkenny, Minnesota has been accused of attacking an ER nurse at St. Cloud Hospital.

On Sunday, police say they were called after the man found outside the Red Carpet Nightclub with his pants around his ankles, bleeding from his forehead. The criminal complaint says Dudley appeared to be under the influence at the time.

He was taken to the hospital to get help when he allegedly lunged at an emergency room nurse trying to get his vitals. The attacks were enough for the nurse to restrain him, but Dudley wrapped his hands around her neck and pushed her against a wall, causing her to hit her head against some equipment.

Dudley was charged with a fourth-degree assault of a hospital worker and a fifth-degree assault.

It’s the second time this month an ER nurse has been attacked at St. Cloud Hospital.
