Do you know a nurse who has gone above and beyond the call of duty? Nominate her for a Cherokee Inspired Comfort Award.
Established in 2003, the Cherokee Inspired Comfort Awards recognize nurses who demonstrate exceptional service, sacrifice or innovation. Previous winners include a nurse who mobilizes community services to help the elderly, a nurse practitioner who founded a free medical clinic, and a LPN who has spent four decades helping moms and babies.
Winners receive an Inspired Comfort trophy, a work wardrobe of Cherokee uniforms and shoes, a 14K gold-plated pin and a one-year subscription to Scrubs magazine. Grand prize winners also win a Caribbean cruise for two.
To nominate, a friend, family member or co-worker, visit http://inspiredcomfort.com/. You’ll be asked to describe the nominee’s outstanding service in 750 words or less. If you have trouble getting started, review the nomination tips.
You’ll receive an award just for nominating a deserving healthcare provider! Nomination awards include a free issue of Scrubs magazine or a golden Cherokee Inspired Comfort Award pin. Hurry, though: nominations will only be accepted through 11:59 pm Pacific Time June 30, 2010.
