That should be what the pinning ceremony is all about, too. But when you’re planning it, there are so many emotions involved, it’s hard to think about just being able to enjoy the day. My co-president, my committee and I have been working for MONTHS to make this one day happen for all 54 of our students and all – get ready – 450 guests! Phone calls, emails, Beluga chat sessions on our phones, trips to Michaels, calls to our venue and florists and AV set-up. I’ve mentioned this before, but this is like a full blown wedding. All we’re missing is the bride and groom!
I know it’s going to go just fine, but there’s soooo much pressure! Oh, and not to mentioned that I’ve got only a few days left and have yet to write a speech! How do you capture the last three years in just two-to-five minutes and really captivate everyone? That’s the next challenge. For now, I’m just taking it day by day. Almost there!
