How to pick a pocket…for your scrubs

Cargo Pocket
Pocket fanatics agree—cargo pants win hands down when it comes to versatility and functionality. Here’s just one of many different configurations available. It has angled side pockets at the hip line for keys or other personal items and a thigh pocket for tools you need on the job. If you tend to accumulate a lot of “stuff” in the pockets on your scrubs top throughout the day, this can put a strain on your back. It’s a lot easier to carry extra weight with your legs by storing items in your pants pockets.

More Pants Pockets

This Skechers flare leg pant has a back pocket that’s good for holding anything you don’t mind sitting on (no scissors, please!). It also features front pockets that have a stretchy knit band at the upper edge. These can keep your cell phone from falling out if you need to sit, squat, bend or twist on the job.
