3. Talk to your superior
Even though doctors can sometimes act like it, nurses don’t answer directly to physicians. They answer to nursing supervisors. If you either tried talking to the overbearing doc to no avail, or are afraid to do so, talking to your supervisor is your best bet. Chances are your supervisor may have heard similar complaints from hospital staff before, and dealing with these issues is what they’re paid to do.
