According to actress Helen Mirren, a number of prostitutes “actually come from the nursing industry, which kind of makes sense.”
The Emmy, Golden Globe and Academy Award-winning actress made her controversial remarks on The Late Show with David Letterman, where she was promoting her latest film, Love Ranch. Mirren visited a brothel to research her role, and when Letterman asked her opinion of the working girls, she made her eye-popping statement. Take a listen:
At least David Letterman doesn’t seem to share her attitude. After his quintuple heart bypass in 2000, he had his entire medical team, including doctors and nurses, on his show to publicly thank them for their hard work and dedication.
