In the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, healthcare workers around the country are putting their health and safety at risk to care for our population’s most vulnerable citizens. To give back to this army of heroes, Fox and Jane Salon is giving away 75 free haircuts to nurses, doctors, and other first responders and essential workers.
The company has locations across New York City, in Colorado Springs and Denver, CO, and Toronto, Canada. NYC has become the epicenter of the outbreak since the virus first arrived back in late January. Colorado has also been responding to various outbreaks across the state. If you are an essential worker and you are a customer of Fox and Jane, you are eligible for a free haircut.
Lorean Cairns, the CEO and co-founder of Fox and Jane, recently took to Instagram to promote this special offer for healthcare workers. As she says in a video, “We’ve been asking ourselves over the last few days, ‘How can we give back?’ and we realized that we have so many incredible essential workers who are already customers of our wonderful stylists. So I, in partnership with my stylists, are going to be able to give away free haircuts to essential workers who are customers of our brand.”
The company already has a close relationship with the healthcare community, and this is the staff’s way of giving back. Cairns goes on to say, “It’s just a drop in the bucket in the scale of what you’re doing for us. It’s our way of saying thank you. So, please know for some of our essential workers, you have some pampering to expect on the other side. To every essential worker out there, we say thank you, we appreciate you, and we are staying home for you.”
Fox and Jane has temporarily paused their services at all salon locations to comply with local shelter-in-place orders that are designed to limit the spread of the virus. However, the company plans on getting back to business as soon as health officials deem it is safe to do so. Once the pandemic is under control, head over to your local Fox and Jane Salon to make an appointment.
