Etsy nurse picks for fall

During the heat of summer, sometimes the only thing that helps you cool off is imagining the crisp weather just around the corner. If you’d like to don apparel with a fall feel, we’ve got you covered. Here are our favorite Etsy selections for nurse accessories with an autumn theme.
Run, Run, as Fast as You Can…
You’ll never catch a nurse who’s got five charts to finish before the end of her shift. This little gingerbread man badge reel is handmade and covered with cute calico fabric. It’s the little sprinkle of sugar to spice up red or brown scrubs. Sweet, simple and not too spendy. Just the way you like it.

Tiny Tote for Nurses
This is billed as a summer floral print bag, but the color combination is really more autumnal. Rust red, orange and yellow flowers look like they’ve been dried in the sun over a long, hot August and are now ready to be pressed in a book. This grab-and-go tote is just the right size to hold the items you might need on a brief break during your shift. It’s 100 percent cotton, so you can even wash it with your scrubs.

Don’t Leaf Home Without This Badge Reel
We’ve featured this Etsy shop owner before for flip-flop badge reels for summer. This fall design is just as lovely, with sparkling foliage that celebrates the colors of autumn. The body of the badge reel is made of a vintage metal zipper that reminds us of the spiral of the seasons.

Wood and Stone Lanyard
We’ve seen a lot of beaded lanyards in our day, but this is probably one of the most beautiful. The list of materials alone is fascinating. This work of art features:

  • Topaz crystal glass
  • Bamboo spindles
  • Amber freshwater pearls
  • Brown iris Czech glass
  • Gold foiled seed beads and spacers
  • A huge brown autumn jasper stone with gold flower bead caps

With all of these “ingredients,” it sounds like this lanyard might be a little heavy. Good thing you’ve built up your trapezius muscles by carrying around a stethoscope all those years!
