Dressing for your body type: 5 fall scrubs for V-shaped men

Got a V-shaped body? Shopping for fall? We’ve got you covered with five great scrubs!
According to our style tool (check it out for more great suggestions!), V-shaped guys should be sporting layered scrubs tops, polo shirts, V-necks and solids for the most flattering looks. The most flattering pants tend to be cargo, fitted and drawstring fits.

Here are our top picks:

Men’s fly front drawstring pant: Cargo-pant scrubs will provide all the comfort you’ll need through your shift and also match well with many different colored tops. You’ll love organizing your gear in all the extra pockets! These Cherokee men’s natural-rise, tapered-leg, adjustable-drawstring pants with an elastic waist feature a functional zip fly, two slash pockets, belt loops, sectional cargo pockets, a back patch pocket and double-needle topstitching.

Unisex V-neck top: With your broader shoulders, you really can’t go wrong with a V-neck scrub top in a versatile neutral color, like this pale gray. This Cherokee  top features a chest pocket with an instrument holder. Also included are two patch pockets, an additional instrument/cell phone pocket on the right side, back yoke and side vents.

Unisex V-neck top: A V-neck top is great for your build, and this unisex V-neck comes in a bold red (great for the holidays)! It features a Dickies logo twill tape at the back neck, a front chest pocket with a bar-tacked pencil slot and side vents.

Men’s zip fly pull-on pant: Choose pants that are fuller in the leg, then consider having have them altered and tapered from there to flatter your shape. These men’s zip fly pull-on pants feature an all-around elastic waistband with a button closure, an adjustable interior drawstring and Dickies logo twill tape on the inside back waistband. Also featured are slash pockets, cargo pockets and a back pocket with a Velcro closure for security, a D-ring on right front belt loop and double-needle topstitching throughout.

Long-sleeve crew-neck knit tee: A well-fitted T-shirt under your top can add a neat, put-together touch (and help keep you warm during chilly autumn days!). Try a dark-colored tee under a monochromatic top and bottom. This long-sleeved, crew-neck knit tee by Dickies is made with a performance knit mesh fabric that wicks moisture away from the body.
