Craziest jobs before becoming a nurse

Work with Dead Animals
Perhaps the perfect way to get over squeamishness before becoming a nurse is working in a food factory. “My first job was on a cannery belt,” says RN Jamie Grijalva. “I had to tally and remove the dead animals. The fun part: They weren’t always dead.”

Tammy Brennan was a cleaner in a pork factory. She notes that the smell was bad, but of course she has since come across much worse as a nurse!
