By 9. RNs can now prescribe birth control in California
Registered nurses in California will now be able to write prescriptions for birth control.
On September 22, California Gov. Jerry Brown signed law AB2348, allowing RNs to dispense the pill, rings and patches, according to an Associated Press report on ABC News.
