One of the nominees for best app is Micromedex, which actually has three applications currently on the market (drug information, drug interactions and IV compatibility) and is working on releasing two more–pediatric essentials and neofax essentials.

What nurses love about it:

“This is a concise, well-organized, and thorough reference. This is definitely not a layman’s approach, but is for those in medicine, and those well acquainted with the study of medicine. Really this is a valuable quick reference that can help us better care for others and ourselves through medicine.” – Google user review, Google play
