An answer to a shift nurse’s prayers?

0

Shift nurses are talking about Tasimelteon, the new sleep drug that could possibly be the answer to a sleepy RN’s prayers. The pill, still in consumer trials, works by helping the body produce more of the sleep hormone melatonin. Tasimelteon is superior to other sleep aids, as it resets the body’s natural sleep rhythm with few side effects (as in, it’s non-addictive and doesn’t cause you to raid your fridge in your sleep).
