Several months ago, Schiff Nutrition (makers of Move Free) started talking with us about offering our Scrubs readers a “Joint Health” series.

The idea made all sorts of sense. We know that the nursing profession and joint pain can unfortunately go hand in hand.

A nurse’s daily routine can involve a great deal of physical work that can create or worsen any joint pain you already have. You’re lifting and turning patients. You’re standing for long periods of time. And you’re likely engaged in many repetitive motions during each shift.

So we put together a quiz to help you assess whether you’re at risk for joint pain, then created supportive articles and tools to help tackle this growing problem. And it’s all gathered together on this page.

We hope you agree that joint pain isn’t something you have to live with alone…that there are smart solutions to try and uplifting stories to share. And we’d love to hear yours!
