I had a bit of fun today doing an Instagram takeover for @cherokeeuniforms. It’s an amazing community of health care professionals that I’ve felt fortunate to be apart of this year. There’s nothing like Instagram for bringing together like minded groups of people from all over the world. You can’t pour from an empty cup ☕️⠀ So today I’m going to fill ‘er up! ??⠀ ⠀ Yes, it’s a busy time of year⠀ ⠀ Yes, I’m getting overtime texts⠀ ⠀ Yes, I have about 600 things to do for this business⠀ ⠀ However, if I don’t fill my own cup I turn into Catipher (that’s my low vibing self) she’s impatient, controlling, irritable and not very fun to be around. Ain’t nobody got time for that. ??‍♀️⠀ ⠀ True story… I make time for this daily and weekly. No matter the season, what’s going on or how long my to-do list is. Filling your cup once a month or whenever is convenient won’t work. I’m sure we’ve all tried that before ??‍♀️⠀ ⠀ We all like different things in our cup too so don’t start comparing. Do you, take some time for the things that fill your soul. I’ll be announcing a New Years Challenge all around this and establishing rituals to help you, but for now do something today that brings you joy and feeds your soul… even if it’s just a few minutes ?⠀ ⠀ I started out with a workout this morning but follow along on stories to see some of the little things that bring me joy and fill my cup. You may just get an idea or two that helps you ✨⠀ ⠀ These mugs are sold out but will be back in the New Year. ☕️☕️

Meet Nixon. ♥️ Nixon was diagnosed at 9 months old with a rare connective tissue disorder. This is a life-threatening genetic condition, and an early, accurate diagnosis is essential. Nixon’s symptoms include hypotonia, macrocephaly, exotropia, scoliosis, joint hypermobilty, pectus excavatum and dilation of his aortic root. His symptoms are similar to those of Marfan syndrome, although his diagnosis is still unspecified. Early intervention was and is still the key in Nixon’s success as many of these children go undiagnosed which can be fatal. Knowing the signs of these conditions can save lives. Please learn more about these conditions to help protect your patients at Marfan.org. Nixon attended the Marfan Foundation’s Annual Conference this year at Stanford and will be walking in the Fundraiser “Walk for Victory” on January 27th.  Please help Nixon reach his goal.
