A Nurse's Favorite Vacation

Can’t decide where to spend your vacation this Spring? Here’s one nurse’s rave review for the best holiday ever:

Ashleigh Farrell, LPN Recommendation: Mexico! “I would have to say the best vacation place for nurses not only for spring break but year round includes ANY place with a beach, sun, and an umbrella in your drink! Any chance to put the feet up on a lounge chair is a godsend from the exhausting shifts on your feet! My recent fave is Cancun, you get cheap Mexico prices with the same gorgeous beaches and crystal blue water of the Carribbean. You can’t beat it! Not to mention the short flight, coming from Colorado, it’s an instant vacation.

We recently stayed at the Royal Solaris in the middle of Cancun’s hotel zone. It’s an all inclusive with the best food I’ve ever had, 5 course meals, 5 star restaurants. I must’ve gained 10 lbs while we were there with the 4 restaurants to choose from which changed their menus nightly. The pool goes on for miles with the all important swim-up bar and in-pool lounge chairs. The perfect relaxation escape. I couldn’t recommend a better place and we plan to go back soon!!”

Everyone knows that Spring and Summer ’09 are jam packed with what used to be hard-to-find travel deals. Here are just a few that we uncovered on some of the biggest travel sites:

Reviewer gave five stars to Orbitz’s ME by Melia Cancun Vacation Deal including flight + 7 nights starting at $663.00

Another five star rating for Expedia.com’s Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancun Vacation Deal, starting at $520.00

American Vacation Center’s 7 Night Cruise to Mexico, starting at $549.00 sounds like the perfect place to gain five pounds.

Travelocity.com’s Riviera Maya Vacation Deal including flight + 4 nights starting at $660.00. ‘Riviera.’ Aaaahh…

So, what’s your ‘best vacation ever’ story? If you have a tip on the best patisserie in Paris or maybe a hidden B&B that services an amazing lobster bisque in Maine, send us an email at he***@me*********.com.
