Boo! Autumn is in the air and October is the perfect time for the young and young at heart to celebrate the season. It’s also the perfect time to celebrate YOU! Check out these special nurse days for you to acknowledge this month as the temperatures drop, the days get shorter and little goblins and ghosts roam the streets in search of sugar. Here’s hoping your October is all treats and no tricks!

October 4, 1922: Sigma Theta Tau International, the honor society of nursing, was formalized.
October 12, 1915: British nurse and patriot Edith Cavell was executed for treason.
