What’s better than nurses breaking into awesome dance moves in a video? Nurses breaking into awesome dance moves in a video…for a good cause!
Have you heard of the Medline Pink Glove Dance video competition? Even if the name doesn’t immediately ring a bell, you may have seen the popular Providence St. Vincent Medical Center video in support of breast cancer awareness and prevention that kicked off the competition in 2009:

2014 is the fourth year of the video dance competition, started because of the overwhelmingly enthusiastic response to the above video (13.8 million views and counting!).

According to Medline, “The Competition launched to tap into the creativity, joy and hard work of caregivers from coast to coast.” Healthcare systems and providers create amazing dance videos in support of breast cancer awareness, which viewers vote on (through September 23 this year). Prizes for the winning videos are awarded as donations to breast cancer charities in the name of the winners.

Here are three of our favorite videos from this year’s competition:

Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center:

University of Maine at Augusta:

University of Illinois Hospital & Health Science System:

Voting is almost over for the year, so be sure to head to the official site to learn more, watch the rest of the videos and vote for your favorites!

Tell us in the comments: Which video is your favorite? Would you make (or have you made?!) a dance video with your coworkers for a good cause?
