4. Be sure that you, as a nurse, are okay.
Some religious traditions frown on having unrelated men and women in a disrobed or vulnerable state in front of one another. It will save trouble if you ask, up front, if the patient minds if you care for them. Draping is always an option, so cast your mind back to your nursing-school days in order to remember how to preserve a patient’s modesty.
