6 Hilarious Nursing Jokes

What the H***?

Q: Do you know about Mary? She died and went straight to hell?

A: Well, I heard it took her three weeks to realize that she wasn’t at work anymore!

All Bleeding Stops… Eventually!

Some dark humor is going on here but hey, sometimes times are dark, and they must be faced with equal darkness. When patients seem to be losing their senses over wounds and sufferings that do not impress you that much anymore, you can giggle in your head (or with your colleagues) at the whole drama.

After all, all bleedings do eventually stop. With or without the heart playing along.

How Do You Tell a Novice from an Experienced Nurse?

First of all, you wouldn’t even have to ask. A beginner wants everyone to know they are a nurse. A professional nurse wants the opposite.

A novice nurse does her assessments by the book. An experienced nurse knows that all evaluation criteria will be answered eventually!

A beginner will spend tons of time doing bladder training with a patient. An experienced nurse will send the patient to the right physician.

A novice nurse changes the bandage as soon as they spot a drop of blood. An experienced nurse knows that all bleedings stop… eventually.
