2012 astrological forecast for nurses

0

Scorpio
It’s going to be a fun and exciting year for you in romance, at work…in every way. You’ll be full of positive energy and able to charm even the most cantankerous of patients. Be sure to channel some of that energy into making a work plan—deciding where you want to go and what you want to do in terms of your nursing career over the next decade or so. If you’re approaching retirement, start making plans for that transition.

Watch out for your jealous nature this year. Some of your nursing colleagues may move on to what you perceive to be better jobs. You may feel as if you’re being passed over for promotions. But your time will come near the end of the year, so be patient and say nothing, since your outspoken nature can often be your worst enemy. Avoid those Aries folks; Aries is a fire sign and those forceful, pushy individuals are simply going to rub you the wrong way and bring out the worst in you.

This is the year to try new things in your non-work life and maybe explore new hobbies. Take an art class. Try a salsa class. How about a cooking class? As a Scorpio, you have a tendency to work too hard and burn yourself out, so engaging in activities that aren’t related to work will help you keep the proper balance between your nursing career and your personal life. And participating in these activities will provide you with more opportunities to meet that special someone, if you haven’t already.

Cynthia Dusseault is a professional freelance writer with both a health and an education background. A former medical radiation technologist and elementary school teacher, she realized that no matter what she did, she was drawn to any task that involved writing, so she decided, over a decade ago, to write full-time. Since then, she has written for a variety of magazines and websites including Nursing PRN, National Review of Medicine, University Affairs, Your Health, Education Leaders Today, Today's Parent, Children's Playmate, WeightWatchers.ca and many more. She has written about topics such as asthma, genital herpes, circumcision, teleradiology, body art, learning disabilities and exercise trends, and she absolutely adores the fact that writing—particularly doing the research for the articles she writes—makes her a lifelong learner.
