2012 astrological forecast for nurses

0

Pisces
This is the year you’ll receive plenty of kudos and acknowledgements for your nursing expertise and skills. You might even win an award. Be sure to take the time to add all of this to your resume because, toward the end of the year, some job opportunities may make you want to consider a career shift to a managerial nursing position.

Be careful with that idealistic nature of yours this year—very few of your coworkers share it. Those carefree, somewhat immature Gemini folk in particular are bound to drive you a bit crazy, and if they’re young student nurses or new grads, you may find yourself in a few clashes as you try to teach them about ethical, professional nursing behavior. Give them some time and keep being the excellent role model you’ve always been. Maturity is something you were practically born with; they’ll get there eventually.

Things will be smooth on the family and finance fronts in 2012. So this is a good year to make a financial plan for the future—for your children’s education, for retirement—and you can make a decision about buying that something you’ve been dreaming of, like that cottage, that new car, that RV, that sailboat….

A former medical radiation technologist and elementary school teacher, she realized that no matter what she did, she was drawn to any task that involved writing, so she decided, over a decade ago, to write full-time. Since then, she has written for a variety of magazines and websites including Nursing PRN, National Review of Medicine, University Affairs, Your Health, Education Leaders Today, Today's Parent, Children's Playmate, WeightWatchers.ca and many more. She has written about topics such as asthma, genital herpes, circumcision, teleradiology, body art, learning disabilities and exercise trends, and she absolutely adores the fact that writing—particularly doing the research for the articles she writes—makes her a lifelong learner.
