Though not meant to be a comprehensive medical Spanish reference point, the Emergency Medical Spanish Guide is designed to provide basic communication between Spanish-speaking patients and non-Spanish-speaking healthcare providers. All questions are phrased to elicit “Yes” or “No” answers intended to collect basic vital medical information. There also is an optional format with audio capability.
